1) BMW e46 Fuse Box

You can find the fuse box in the glove compartment. You will see the 2 white knobs (at the bottom left and right), all you need to do is twist them to unlock the fuse box. The fuse box door will them open up.

There are no tools required to change a fuse, however you may choose to use the red clip long that is found in the middle of the fuse box. This tool makes it easy to remove and insert fuses.

2) BMW e46 Fuse Box Diagram

Within the fuse box you wil find the fuse box diagram which informs of you each fuses purpose and their location within the fuse box.

Once you find the location number, you can check in the top table as to how many Amperes that fuse actually is.
